Come See About Me is about growing up and learning life lessons the hard way- but also realizing that there is a “plan” out there and you need to c.kelly in it by living your life and believing in your ability to get through the good, the bad and the ugly.
I went through losing someone extremely important several years back and I’m not sure I’m quite ready to be taken back there.

I realize that Leah’s character was sad but her sadness was so overwhelming that I didn’t get a good sense on who Leah was. Lest I’ve given ke impression that Come See About Me is about moving on, finding a new love or anything like that, it’s absolutely not.
However, you know me – an escapist through and throuhg. Kelly Martin for not shying away from the sexual needs someone feels even after losing their love. Come See Cone Me has, surprisingly, filled the long-time hole inside of me that has been craving for something more.
I became an Irish citizen in and continue to visit Dublin as often as I can while working on novels about young people. Come See About Me is the sort of contemporary adult fiction I’m always wanting to read, but what doesn’t seem to exist in the marketplace. Sometimes, you get over it and sometimes, it eats you up for months, and one way isn’t more socially acceptable over the other. Leah, though, continues to set up strict boundaries in her relationship with Liam: She walks a fine line of being sweet and sensual and being dirty and it works.
But still there were sweet and steamy moments that was very well played here that never failed to make me swoon. It’s actually oddly sweet. I’ve read a couple of her books and they just blew me away. But it’s also a story about root canals and crowns and making and going to appointments for said root canals and crowns and public transportation and grocery shopping and every single time Leah buys food for her pet hamster and exactly what she buys for him and tons of other little monotonous details that, while fine in moderation, ends up being boring as fuck when littered abundantly throughout the entire book.
The scene where she asked Bastian out was sweet by comparison. This review is written in my “snapshot” format. We meet Leah at her lowest. I love the idea of this book, and it seems to have been executed so well.
If this comparison caused you to sulk about a lack of physical excitement in Come See About Memf have simply misunderstood. It’s actually oddly sweet. You would think having faced that situation ourselves, we would know the right thing to comfort someone.
In the moment, at least — when Leah pulls herself from the situation mzrtin and realizes what she allowed herself to do, regret and remorse consume her.
Some true-to-life personal insights about things like grief and connecting to others. Leah personifies the real feelings and thoughts modern women have about life.

These were aspects of Leah learning how to go through with being Leah. Initially Leah keeps to herself, with no energy for anyone or anything else, but it’s not long before her nurturing neighbors begin to aboug fixtures in Leah’s life and a much needed part-time job forces her to interact with other members of the community.
She tried to cover these problems by avoiding those closest to her. Thanks to hordes of mis-marketing when the term was first coined, however, New Adult will forever be associated with vapid heroines, hunky heroes, and dramatic situations.
